ROCKFORD (WREX) — You can make a local senior citizen feel loved this valentine's day with the Valentines For Seniors Program.

All you have to do is buy or make a Valentines' day card, drop it off at one of four locations and it will be delivered to long-term care facilities within the 35th Senate District.

That includes part of Rockford, Belvidere, Sycamore and Rockton.

State Senator Dave Syverson, Winnebago County Board Chairman Joe Chiarelli, Belvidere Mayor Mike Chamberlain and Representative Jeff Keicher created the program jointly.

Here are the 4 places you can drop off your card to:

  • Sen. Syverson State of IL Building, 200 S. Wyman, Suite 302, Rockford
  • 404 Elm St #533, Rockford
  • 401 Whitney Blvd, Belvidere
  • Representative Jeff Keicher, 158 W. State St., Sycamore

The deadline to drop off a card is February 10.
