Bobblehead HOF makes ‘Grumpy Bernie’ bobblehead

MILWAUKEE (WREX) — A photo of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders during Wednesday's inauguration has taken the internet by storm.

"Grumpy Bernie" is a photo of Sanders sitting in a coat and mittens with his legs crossed in a folding chair.

Rockford native Phil Sklar, the founder of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame, took notice and created a Bernie bobblehead!

Sklar said an employee saw the photo of Bernie making rounds on the internet as different memes and suggested making Bernie into a bobblehead.

"The fact that you can take that pose and put it in so many different settings...I've seen people have the meme with Forrest Gump sitting on the chair, and just so many different random things I think that's what really caused it to take off," Sklar said.
