Rockford police respond to a deadly shooting on 11th St. on Dec. 28, 2020. This marked the 36th murder in Rockford in 2020.

ROCKFORD (WREX) — The Winnebago County Coroner identified the man shot and killed on 11th St. on December 28.

Javelle Bolden, 29, of Rockford died at the scene from a gunshot wound, according to the Winnebago County Coroner.

Rockford Police arrested Anthony Dewitt, 23, with first-degree murder for the December shooting.
