Crews respond to fire in Winnebago
WINNEBAGO (WREX) — Multiple crews respond to a garage fire at a home in Winnebago Monday night.
The crews went to the home on the 8100 block of Highview Drive at around 8 p.m. Crews on scene include the North Park Fire Department and the Byron Fire Department.
According to Win-Bur-Sew Fire Protection District, two family members were in the home, but got out safely.
Fire officials say no one was hurt. They also say the fire was caused by an electric furnace.
