All kindergarten students and staff at Cherry Valley Elementary School are being required to quarantine at home for two weeks
ROCKFORD (WREX) — Cherry Valley Elementary School says it's requiring all of its kindergarten students and staff to quarantine at home for two weeks. The school made the announcement on Saturday.
In a letter to parents, the school says it's following instructions from the Winnebago County Health Department by implementing the quarantine.
This comes after the school confirmed a case of COVID-19 on Thursday. All kindergarten remote learners will see no change in their daily routines. The quarantine does not apply to any other grade level in the school.
Students and staff will be able to return to school on Monday, October 5th. The school is asking parents to monitor their child for any symptoms of the coronavirus.
