Man charged with attempted murder, another suspect still missing

ROCKFORD (WREX) — Rockford Police charge a man with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked family in their driveway, but police are still searching for a third suspect.

Michael Feldberg, 20, Jonathan Feldberg, 47, an Carol Feldberg, 47, all of Rockford, were charged in relation to the attempted murder on July 17.

Rockford Police said the three suspects attacked a family in their car on the 4800 block of Woodridge Ct.

The suspects blocked the family's car in their driveway before they punctured the tires and stabbed one of the family members, according to police.

All three suspects fled the scene shortly after and Michael Feldberg and Jonathan Feldburg turned themselves into the police a few hours after the incident. Police have not yet found Carol Feldberg.

The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

Michael Feldberg was charged with attempted first degree murder while Jonathan and Carol Feldberg were charged with smaller crimes related to the incident.
