Paycheck Protection Program application ends June 30

ROCKFORD (WREX) — The deadline for small businesses to apply for loans as part of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is Tuesday, June 30.

The PPP is a part of the CARES Act and churned out millions of loans since it launched shortly after COVID-19 began its assault on America a couple months back.

But while the deadline is June 30, over $100 billion remains available in the fund.

That money could then be repurposed, but only with congressional approval.
