BEIJING (AP) — The Beijing auto show, the global industry's biggest marketing event this year, is being postponed in response to China's virus outbreak.
Organizers of Auto China 2020 said the event originally scheduled for April would be moved to an undetermined date.
The delay is a setback for an auto industry that is trying to reverse a sales decline in its biggest global market.
The Beijing show and a counterpart in Shanghai are held in alternate years.
China is also considering whether to postpone the ceremonial parliament meeting in March, the highest-profile political event of the year.
