This past week featured plenty of great performances on basketball courts around the area. Here are this week's candidates for Friday Night Nets Boys Performance of the Week.
Rockford Christian's Marcus Hill scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a Monday night win over rival Rockford Lutheran in a non-conference game between the Big Northern Conference rivals. Guilford's Tyler Knuth surpassed the 1,000 point mark for his career with another good game against Hononegah. Rockford Lutheran's Zach Derus scored 27 points and had 7 steals to help the Crusaders stay undefeated in conference play with a win over Winnebago Friday night. And Hononegah's Chris Akelaitis scored 27 points in a border war win over Beloit Memorial Monday.

Stillman Valley's Lexi Lichty scored 20 points in a win over North Boone last week. Boylan's Peyton Kennedy continues to put up huge numbers, scoring 35 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in a win over Belvidere North Friday night. Sycamore senior star Kylie Feuerbach tallied a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds in a win over LaSalle-Peru to help the red-hot Lady Spartans clinch a conference title. And Ashton-Franklin Center guard Camdyn Penick lit up Hiawatha to the tune of 41 points in a Lady Raiders' 1st round playoff win.
