Beloit hotel donates 250 pairs of gloves to Boys and Girls Club

BELOIT (WREX) — A hotel in Beloit is helping make sure kids in the Stateline stay warm.

Ironworks Hotel donated 250 pairs of gloves to the Stateline Boys and Girls Club through its Warm Hearts, Warm Hands campaign.

Throughout Jan. and early Feb., the hotel sold embroidered smart-touch gloves to community members and guests. For every pair sold, a pair was donated.

“Thank you to our community members and guests for your support of our Warm Hearts, Warm Hands campaign,” said Stephanie Ashley-Hoppe, general manager at Beloit’s Ironworks Hotel. “We loved meeting with kids from the Stateline Boys and Girls Club and hearing how they hoped to share the gloves with their classmates, teammates and friends.”
