Police: Woman shot by teenager with pellet gun in Lena

LENA (WREX) — An investigation is underway after a Lena woman is shot by a teenager with a pellet gun.

According to Steve Schaible, the chief of police with the Lena Police Department, the shooting happened last Friday in the area of Grove and Center St.

A woman was shot with a pellet gun, according to Schaible. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries and was then released.

The police department says charges against the juvenile suspect are still pending.
