Rockford man found guilty of choking a child

ROCKFORD (WREX) — A Rockford man has been found guilty by a jury of choking a child in 2018.

Adam P. Mandujano, 38, of Rockford, faces up to 7 years in prison.

Authorities responded to a domestic battery call to a child on Jan. 6, 2018.

Officers spoke with the victim who says the suspect, later identified as Mandujuano, choked him until he lost consciousness.

Mandujuano is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 25, 2020 in front of Judge Randy Wilt.
