FORRESTON (WREX) — No one was hurt after a water rescue was performed early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 4:30 in the morning, according to the Forreston Firemen’s Association’s Facebook page.

They did not specify where it happened, but say there was two feet of water in the road where a driver was stranded.

According to the Facebook post, the Forreston Fire Protection District got the driver out in under 5 minutes with no injuries being reported.

In the same post, the Association reminded drivers not to drive through standing or running water on the road.
